Greater Speed and Connectivity
The DAP-2622 delivers reliable, high-speed wireless performance with signal rates of up to 867 Mbps over the 5 GHz band, and 300 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz band. This, coupled with support for the Wi-Fi Multimedia™ (WMM) Quality of Service (QoS) feature, makes it an ideal access point for audio, video, and voice applications. When enabled, QoS allows the DAP-2622 to automatically prioritize network traffic according to the level of interactive streaming, such as HD movies or VoIP.
MU-MIMO Technology
The DAP-2622 supports MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output), which enables the device to simultaneously communicate with multiple clients using multiple antennas. This allows the access point to utilize the spectrum more efficiently and significantly increase the network capacity.
Multiple Operating Modes
The DAP-2622 supports four operating modes (AP Mode, WDS Mode, WDS with AP, and Wireless Client) for performance optimization
based on your network’s needs.
Reliable Security and Management Tools
The DAP-2622 supports WPA/WPA2-Personal/Enterprise data encryption. In addition, this access point supports MAC address access control and the Disable SSID Broadcast function to limit unauthorized access to the internal network. Network administrators have multiple options for managing the DAP-2622, including Web (HTTP), Secure Socket Layer (SSL), Secure Shell (SSH), and Telnet.
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The DAP-2622 is powered by 802.3at PoE Switch through Ethernet cable. This facility allows you to install the access point in those places where electrical outlets are not available (the DAP-2622 is wall mounted). Also the DAP-2622 can provide power using PoE through the 802.3af PoE LAN port (PoE OUT + DATA) for PoE-capable devices and connecting them to the network (PoE Out port supports a maximum of 12 W).
