Outdoor Wireless Dual Band unified access point DWL-8710AP with PoE is designed for use in enterprise networks that require data transfer for small and medium distances.
Designed for outdoor use, the AP DWL-8710AP is made in weatherproof housing that complies with IP67 and protects against dust and moisture.

The access point supports MIMO 2x2 and is equipped with two detachable omni-directional antennas with a gain of 7 dBi for 5 GHz frequency band and two detachable omnidirectional antennas 5 dBi for 2.4 GHz. This solution enables stable operation of WDS-connections on medium distances in the 5 GHz band and thus arrange local access to a wireless network in the 2.4GHz band.
 
Enterprise-class Security
In the stand-alone access point wireless network protection and control of connected clients implemented using encryption protocols WEP, WPA / WPA2 (Personal / Enterprise), authentication, 802.1X, filtering by MAC-address of the wireless client isolation mechanism, and the possibility of disabling the broadcast SSID. In the controlled access point expands the functional safety through the use of adaptive features of the portal (Captive Portal) and technology WIDS to detect rogue access points / clients and prevent unauthorized access.
