The D-Link ANT70-1000 2.4/5GHz Dual Band Indoor/Outdoor Directional Antenna is designed for use with wireless devices operating in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands such as 802.11 standard wireless access points and routers. It provides a Gain of 8dBi for 2.4GHz band and 21dBi for 5GHz band to give your wireless network an extended operating range. For best performance, users can use an antenna of the same Gain or higher at the other connection end to take advantage of this antenna’s powerful signal transmission*.

Point to Point Application
The ANT70-1000 Dual Band Indoor/Outdoor Directional Antenna is ideal for operating in modes such as point-to-point WDS and others that require a high gain directional antenna. An example application of this antenna is to extend
your local area network (LAN) by connecting LANs at two physically separated locations. Alternatively, Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) subscribers can also use this antenna to establish a strong connection between their
host and to their ISP’s outdoor AP.

Outdoor Deployment
The ANT70-1000 Directional Antenna has a durable build and a sturdy, waterproof design making it suitable for outdoor installation. Furthermore, it is made of corrosion-resistant material, enabling it to withstand harsh outdoor
conditions. A surge arrestor is included for protection against outdoor elements such as lightning and thunder storms.

Accessories Included
For ready installation, the ANT70-1000 antenna includes a pole mounting kit, which allows it to be placed on a pole for better wireless coverage. It also comes equipped with an indoor adapter cable fitted with N Type and RP-SMA
connecters for easy connection to a host.

*Transmission and reception distances can vary according to the transmission speeds. To get maximum signal coverage, make sure there is no obstruction in the signal path between the transmission and reception ends.
