The DIS-200G-12PSW Managed Switch is equipped with 10 10/100/1000Base-T ports (8 ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE)) and 2 1000Base-X SFP ports for high-speed uplink connections to the backbone. It is designed for use in industrial enterprise networks. The DIS-200G-12PSW supports D-Link Green technology and advanced management and security features. Management features include SNMP, Web-based management, and a Command Line Interface (CLI).

 

The metal case (IP30 standard) and wide operating temperature range allow the DIS-200G-12PSW to be deployed in harsh environmental conditions. High electromagnetic compatibility ensures the switch's immunity to strong electromagnetic interference, while the passive cooling system ensures silent operation. The device can be wall-mounted, installed on a DIN rail, or mounted in a 19-inch rack using appropriate brackets (rack-mount brackets are not included).

6 kV surge protection ensures the copper ports' resistance to induced voltage and prevents damage to the switch and connected devices.

 

The DIS-200G-12PSW supports Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS, ITU-T G.8032) technology, which ensures minimal ring recovery time after a failure. To ensure maximum fault tolerance, the switch implements a dual power redundancy scheme: up to two independent DC1 power sources can be connected to the DIS-200G-12PSW, and a connector for an AC¹ power adapter is also provided.

 

The DIS-200G-12PSW switch supports Auto Surveillance VLAN (ASV), making it an ideal solution for deploying video surveillance systems. This feature automatically detects video surveillance equipment in the general network and assigns it to a dedicated VLAN, within which video traffic is given the highest service priority. Auto Surveillance VLAN support ensures stable operation of video applications, high-quality transmission, and maximum protection of multimedia traffic regardless of the overall network load.

 

The DIS-200G-12PSW switch supports cable diagnostics and Loopback Detection, enabling network administrators to quickly and easily identify and resolve network issues. The Loopback Detection feature is used to detect loops and automatically disable the port on which a loop is detected. The cable diagnostics feature is designed to determine the condition of the twisted pair cable as well as the type of cable fault.

 

The 8 ports of this switch support the IEEE 802.3at PoE standard. The total PoE budget of the switch can reach up to 240 W, depending on the power of the connected power source. For example, when a DIS-PWR180AC power adapter with 180 W is connected, the PoE budget is 140 W; when a more powerful power source, such as 300 W, is connected, the PoE budget can reach up to 240 W, i.e., 30 W per port. Special indicators on the front panel of the device help monitor the utilized PoE budget.
