Tanımlama

Switches tertiary DES-3810 series, belonging to the family of D-Link xStack, provide high performance, high functionality, including the level 3. Switches are equipped with 24 and 48 ports. The switch DES-3810-28 is equipped with a 24-port 10/100 Mbit / s Fast Ethernet and 4 combo ports 1000Base-T/SFP Gigabit Ethernet. The switch DES-3810-52 is equipped with a 48-port 10/100 Mbit / s Fast Ethernet, 2 x 1000 and 2 SFP combo ports 1000Base-T/SFP. Fast Ethernet ports provide connections to other switches LAN. Combo ports provide flexible connectivity to the network backbone and core switches.

Standard and Advanced software version
Series Switch DES-3810 supports two different versions of the software - standard version (SI) and the extended version (EI).The standard version supports advanced networking features to scale campus or enterprise, including advanced settings Quality of Service (QoS), traffic shaping, tunneling 802.1Q (Q-in-Q), routing / multicast IPv4, Ethernet OAM and various security functions. Extended version of the software supports the routing of IPv6, the protocol BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) protocol and MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching), used in next-generation networks with IPv6 support for applications or VPN / triple play networks in Metro Ethernet. In addition, the extended version also supports Switch Resource Management (SRM). This feature gives users the ability to optimize the allocation of resources for a variety of switch network tasks.

Enhanced network reliability
Switch DES-3810 series are designed for business networking / campus, as well as for users who require a high level of network security and maximum reliability. Both switch DES-3810-28 DES-3810-52 supports external redundant power supply, providing thus a continuous operation. The switches also support functions 802.1D Spanning Tree (STP), 802.1w Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) and 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree (MSTP), Loopback Detection (LBD), and Broadcast Storm Control, that enhance network resilience. Function G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) provides the switching time less than 50ms. To provide load balancing and backup data using multiple switches / server application, DES-3810 series supports dynamic 802.3ad Link Aggregation Port Trunking.

Advanced Security Features
Switch DES-3810 series supports the latest security features such as multi-level access control lists (ACL), Storm Control, and IP-MAC-Port Binding to the DHCP Snooping. Function IP-MAC-Port Binding binds the IP-addresses of the source to the associated MAC address for a specific port number to increase access security. Thanks to the DHCP Snooping, the switch automatically detects pairs of IP / MAC-addresses, DHCP-tracking packets and saving them in a "white list" IMPB. In addition, the function of D-Link Safeguard Engine identifies and prioritizes packets destined for processing CPU, in order to prevent network attacks and protect the control interface of the switch.

Identity Driven Network Policies
Switch DES-3810 Series supports authentication mechanisms such as 802.1X, Access Control Web-based interface (WAC) and Access Control MAC-based, easy deployment. After authentication, individual policies such as VLAN membership, QoS policies and rules ACL, can be assigned to each host. The switch also supports Microsoft ® NAP (Network Access Protection).NAP technology allows users to restrict access to a network of computers that do not meet the safety requirements.

Traffic Management for Triple Play Services
DES-3810 series provides a set of functions of multi-level QoS / CoS, ensure that critical network services such as VoIP, video conferencing, IPTV and IP-surveillance are served with proper priority. Functions Three Color Marker traffic restriction and provide guaranteed bandwidth for data services when the network is busy. With the support of multicast L2/L3, Switch DES-3810 implements the IPTV-processing applications that require a growing demand in the market. IGMP / MLD Snooping allows host-based connection of multiple clients multicast group to one interface, the function of ISM VLAN sends Multicast streams in a special Multicast VLAN to save bandwidth and improve network security. ISM VLAN profiles allow users to assign / change the preset settings on ports multicast subscribers quickly and easily.

Efficient network management
For the implementation of the Agreement on the level of quality of service SLA (Service Level Agreement), service providers must reduce the mean time to repair the machine is working (Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)) and increase the availability of services. Ethernet OAM features contributes to the solution of these problems, and allows service providers to ensure the best quality of services provided. Switch DES-3810 series supports standardized OAM, including IEEE 802.3ah, IEEE802.1ag and ITU-T Y.1731. Connectivity Fault Management (CFM) provides the functions of monitoring, and troubleshooting networks Ethernet, allowing you to check connectivity, isolate network issues, and identify customers affected by network issues.

High-performance routing
Series Switch DES-3810 supports three routing functions at the level corresponding to the data transmission medium. For small networks, routing between VLAN, static routing and protocol RIP (Routing Information Protocol) provides an easy way to configure Layer 3 routing. In medium and large enterprises supported protocols Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGPv4) to ensure the best routing. Policy-based routing (PBR) allows administrators to control the direction of the dynamic routing for load balancing and security.

Multicast Layer 3 Switch DES-3810 supports the PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast), including PIM Sparse Mode (PIM-SM), PIM Dense Mode (PIM-DM), PIM Source-Specific Multicast (PIM-SSM) and PIM Sparse -Dense mode.

Interaction with both IPv4 and IPv6
Switch DES-3810 series are fully compatible with the next-generation networks based on the protocol IPv6. They support remote management of IPv6 through telnet, HTTP, or SNMP. The switch supports the dynamic IPv6-routing, such as RIPng and OSPFv3. In addition, this device supports IPv4/v6 dual stack and tunneling IPv6, allowing the switch DES-3810 to act as a bridge between IPv4 and IPv6.

To ensure the safety of IPv6-network series switches DES-3810 supports features IPv6 ACL, IPv6 RADIUS, DHCPv6 Snooping and Neighbor Discovery (ND) Snooping to protect the network from non IPv6-customers.

VPN-tunneling service for businesses
Series Switch DES-3810 supports many advanced features such as VLAN translation, Selective Q-in-Q and Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS), which allow users to organize VPN-tunnels Layer 2 data transmission backbone MPLS. The function L2 Protocol Tunneling (L2PT) provides corporate clients transparency level 2 in the provider network, significantly reducing costs by centralizing network management.
